Version 8.4.0 is a stable major release and is not a prerelease, although 90% of recent versions being prereleases indicates a fast-moving release stream.

Workflow auditcaution

All 13 workflows were analyzed, but one pull_request_target workflow performs an untrusted checkout, and seven workflows grant top-level write permissions. High-confidence template-injection findings and broad app-token permissions also warrant release-process caution, although the audit does not establish that every issue is exploitable in the same workflow.
