Folder browsing and file retrieval apply inconsistent authorization checks. A low-privileged authenticated user can enumerate file names and metadata in folders they are not permitted to access, even though file contents remain protected. The disclosed metadata can reveal information about protected resources and aid follow-on attacks. The fix aligns authorization checks so folder metadata is only returned to users permitted to access the folder.
