libthrift is vulnerable to Resource Leak
82
High Risk
TSaslNonblockingServer runs the SASL handshake through tryRunNextPhase, and an exception while parsing that handshake leaves the socket and its selector key open. A client can repeat a malformed handshake and exhaust connection resources. The fix closes the connection when that pre-authentication parse fails.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you run a TSaslNonblockingServer that accepts SASL handshakes from untrusted clients.
libthrift is vulnerable to Resource Leak in versions 0.14.0 - 0.24.0.
