thrift is vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS)

High Risk
The WebSocket frame decoder in web_server.js allocates a buffer from the payload length declared in the frame header before confirming that many bytes are present. A short frame that claims a huge length forces a large allocation, and repeating it exhausts memory. The fix rejects a declared length that exceeds the bytes actually received before allocating.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you accept Thrift WebSocket connections from untrusted clients.
thrift is vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS) in versions 0.9.2 - 0.24.0.
