The Permissions by Term module restricts view access to individual nodes through taxonomy terms. In Permission mode, it does not sufficiently check access when a node that references a deleted taxonomy term is requested through JSON:API, so that node can be disclosed to a user who should not see it. Exploitation requires that module configuration, a reference to a deleted term, and access via JSON:API.
