TL;DR

TEvhttpServer::process allocates a RequestContext with new and relies on the completion callback to delete it. If processor_->process() throws before that callback runs, the context and its buffered request are never freed, and repeated truncated requests leak memory until the process is exhausted. The fix releases the request context when processing throws before the callback runs.

Who does this affect?

You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you run a TEvhttpServer that handles untrusted HTTP requests.

Background info

thrift is vulnerable to Memory Leak in versions 0.6.0 - 0.24.0.

How to fix this
