@vendure/core is vulnerable to Improper Authentication
91
Critical Risk
The external authentication service links an external login to a pre-existing account whenever the provider-supplied email matches an existing customer, without requiring the provider to have verified that email. An actor who registers at an external identity provider using a victim's email can have their external identity attached to the victim's Vendure account and log in as the victim. The fix only links external methods to existing accounts when the email address is explicitly verified by the provider.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you use an external authentication strategy that can link logins to existing accounts by email address.
