DotNetNuke.Core is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass
43
Medium Risk
Social group management does not consistently validate group ownership during update operations. By tampering with postback parameters, a user who owns one social group can submit changes targeting a different group they do not own. This lets them modify another group's information, undermining group integrity and enabling social-engineering content under a legitimate group's name. The fix validates group ownership on management operations.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you use the Social Groups module.
DotNetNuke.Core is vulnerable to Authorization Bypass in versions 0.0.1 - 10.3.2.
