Mistral Vibe's worktree creation process runs a target repository's git hooks, including post-checkout, before checking whether that repository is trusted. A crafted repository can include a post-checkout hook that runs arbitrary shell commands with the privileges of the user running Vibe when a worktree is created from it, leading to code execution without any explicit trust approval from the user. The fix moves trust validation ahead of git hook execution during worktree creation.
