bcpg-jdk18on is vulnerable to Signature Verification Bypass
80
High Risk
An OpenPGP subkey without its own Key Flags inherits primary-key signing capability, so a signature is accepted without the required cross-certification and can be attributed to the wrong key. The fix stops a subkey with no Key Flags from inheriting primary-key capabilities.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you rely on the high-level OpenPGP API to attribute data signatures to certificates that contain signing subkeys.
bcpg-jdk18on is vulnerable to Signature Verification Bypass in versions 1.81 - 1.85.
