Entity Reference Manager exposes merge routes for nodes, taxonomy terms, and media that only check whether the visitor can view the entity. A visitor with view access, including an anonymous visitor when the entity is public, can open those routes, rewrite references across the site, and delete arbitrary nodes, taxonomy terms, or media. Version 1.0.3 requires the restricted administer entity reference manager permission on every merge route.
