libcurl is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass
37
Low Risk
Connection reuse ignores some client certificate and private key settings. A later transfer can reuse a connection that was authenticated with a different client key, so the server still sees the previous client identity. The fix compares those mTLS settings before reuse.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you reuse connections while changing client certificate or private key options.
libcurl is vulnerable to Authentication Bypass in versions 7.7 - 8.20.0.
Upgrade the libcurl and/or the curl.curl library to the patch version.
