lmcache is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE)

Critical Risk
DeviceIPCWrapper.Deserialize unpickles payloads from the unauthenticated multiprocess transport while the request is still being decoded. A client that can reach that socket can run code as the LMCache process. No released version stops accepting those pickled messages.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and multiprocess mode exposes its transport socket to untrusted clients.
lmcache is vulnerable to Remote Code Execution (RCE) in versions 0.3.9 - 0.5.5.
There is no patched release yet. Do not expose the multiprocess transport socket to untrusted clients until a release stops deserializing messages with pickle.loads.
