With HTTP/3 session resumption and early data enabled, a second transfer to a host can send the request body before certificate verification fails. If that host is no longer the original server, the early data leaves the client before the impostor certificate is rejected. The fix fails the handshake before sending early data when verification fails.

You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you enable HTTP/3 early data.

How to fix this
Upgrade the libcurl and/or the curl.curl library to the patch version.
