Special:PropertyLabelSimilarity accepts a limit request parameter that is cast to an integer without rejecting non-positive values, and the lookup's property list query passes that limit straight to the SQL builder, so a crafted request loads the entire property table into the O(n^2) label comparison loop. The patch clamps the limit to a fixed upper bound whenever the requested value is out of range.
