RegexpMatcher compiles a regular expression from a CI rules clause without limiting the size of the compiled program. A CI/CD configuration can supply a pattern that overflows an internal counter while it is compiled, and the GitLab server executes code as a result. The fix rejects a pattern whose compiled program exceeds the size limit.
