jenkins-core is vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data
43
Medium Risk
User objects can appear as nested field values in other deserialized XML objects. An attacker with Overall/Read permission can submit crafted XML that creates user objects that are not usable login accounts. The fix prevents user objects from being deserialized as nested fields in other objects.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and users with Overall/Read permission can submit XML configuration or similar deserialized input.
jenkins-core is vulnerable to Deserialization of Untrusted Data in versions 0.0.1 - 2.568.2 and 2.569 - 2.579.
