libcurl is vulnerable to Information Disclosure
37
Low Risk
Cookie parsing lets a malicious HTTP server set a cookie that skips the Public Suffix List check when the domain ends with a dot. curl then stores that cookie for unrelated domains and sends it on later requests to those domains. The fix strips trailing dots before the Public Suffix List check.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you accept cookies from untrusted HTTP servers.
libcurl is vulnerable to Information Disclosure in versions 7.46.0 - 8.20.0.
Upgrade the libcurl and/or the curl.curl library to the patch version.
