TL;DR

THeaderTransport.parseHeaders reads transformCount from the frame and uses it to allocate the transform list without checking it against the remaining header bytes. A peer can send one frame whose count forces a huge allocation and crash the server. The fix calls checkContainerSizeForProtocol on that count before it sizes any allocation.

Who does this affect?

You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you run a server that accepts THeader frames from untrusted clients.
