TL;DR

Langflow resolves the acting user for webhook requests by looking up the flow owner. When webhook authentication is disabled, which is the default, the lookup returns the owner without validating any API key in the request. Anyone who knows or guesses a flow identifier can invoke that flow through the webhook endpoint without credentials, enabling unauthorized flow execution, code execution through code components, and data modification. The fix enables webhook authentication by default so an API key is required.

Who does this affect?

You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you run webhook-triggered flows with webhook authentication left disabled.

Background info
