ash_admin is vulnerable to Use of Insufficiently Random Values
21
Low Risk
When no CSP nonce assign key is configured, AshAdmin injects a hardcoded compile-time constant nonce into the inline script and style tags it emits. The value is identical on every response and published in the source, so it provides none of the unpredictability a nonce-based Content Security Policy relies on. Injected markup on an admin page can reuse the known nonce to satisfy the script-src policy and execute. The fix generates a per-request nonce instead of a published constant.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you rely on a nonce-based Content Security Policy for AshAdmin pages without configuring a per-request nonce assign key.
ash_admin is vulnerable to Use of Insufficiently Random Values in versions 0.10.8 - 1.3.0.
