ash_admin is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS)
84
High Risk
AshAdmin renders relationship typeahead suggestion labels by wrapping the matched search term in markup and passing the result through raw HTML output. Because the label text itself is not HTML-escaped, database values used as labels are inserted into the page unescaped. A record whose label field contains markup runs script in the browser of an admin who searches that typeahead. The fix HTML-escapes relationship typeahead labels before highlighting.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and untrusted users can write to fields that AshAdmin renders as relationship typeahead labels.
ash_admin is vulnerable to Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in versions 0.13.0 - 1.3.0.
