thrift is vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS)

Medium Risk
THeaderTransport::readFrame() and untransform() compare an attacker-supplied frame size, and the size after decompression, only to the hardcoded MAX_FRAME_SIZE, not to the configured maxFrameSize. A peer can send a frame, including a highly compressible one, that stays under the internal ceiling and still exceeds the lower configured limit. The fix rejects frames that exceed maxFrameSize before they are buffered and after they are decompressed.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and you set maxFrameSize below the internal ceiling on THeaderTransport.
