gitlab-ce is vulnerable to Cache Poisoning
78
High Risk
extract_raw_ref accepts a commit SHA that matches at a line boundary inside the requested id, not only at the start of the value. The raw-file cache then stores the response under that parsed ref and path. A later fetch can return attacker-chosen file content to a CI job, including one that holds protected variables. The fix requires the SHA to match at the start of the id.
You are affected if you are using a version that falls within the vulnerable range and CI jobs fetch raw repository files.
gitlab-ce is vulnerable to Cache Poisoning in versions 13.1.0 - 19.2.7, 19.3.0 - 19.3.3 and 19.4.0 - 19.4.1.
