TL;DR

Affected versions of this package are vulnerable to insecure temporary directory handling because a predictable temp directory may be accepted without verifying ownership. A local attacker on the same host may take control of the directory and, when persistent sessions are enabled, read session data to hijack authenticated users or potentially execute code as the application user.

Who does this affect?

You are affected if using a vulnerable version.
